How We Build a Care Plan at Titan Chiropractic in Petaluma, and Why We Re-Scan Along the Way

You said yes to care, and then you saw the schedule. Two to three visits a week? For a couple of months? If you are a parent in Petaluma, Penngrove, or Cotati, that is usually the moment the questions start. Why so many visits? How do you know it is working? What happens when the plan is done? Fair questions. Here are the honest answers, step by step.

A care plan starts with data, not guesswork

We never build a plan from a hunch. On Day 1 we run three gentle INSIGHT scans. The neuroCORE scan reads the electrical activity along the spine, the nerve energy your child’s brain is sending down the line. The neuroTHERMAL scan reads the heat pattern down the spine, which is run by the automatic nerves that control organs and glands. The neuroPULSE scan reads the rhythm of the heartbeat, the balance between the body’s gas pedal and its brake. Together they roll into one number from 0 to 100 called the CORESCORE. That number is your starting line. Everything in the plan is built from it. We don’t guess. We test, adjust, and retest.

Why the plan is different for every family

Think of a nervous system under stress like a breaker box that keeps tripping. Some homes have one tired breaker. Some have a whole panel that needs attention. That is why there is no one-size plan at Titan. The scans, the health history, and the exam tell us how long stress has been building and how deeply the body has adapted around it. From there we map out a plan, usually a couple of months, with visits two to three times a week at the start. Your plan gets its own length, its own pace, and its own goals. Your neighbor’s plan may look different, and that is the point.

Why so many visits at the beginning

Here is the simplest way we can say it. A stress pattern the body has practiced for months, or years, does not release in one visit. Each gentle adjustment is a rep. It reminds the nervous system what calm, connected, and clear feels like. Early in care, the body tends to drift back toward the old pattern between visits, so the reps come close together. As the new pattern takes hold, the visits spread out. It works a lot like learning anything new. Repetition first, then rhythm.

What each visit actually looks like

Visits at our Petaluma office are short, calm, and focused. We check the specific zone points that tell us where the nervous system is holding stress that day, using the Zone Technique. Then we deliver a gentle, specific adjustment. For our littlest patients, the pressure is about what you would use to check if a tomato is ripe. No twisting, no cracking, nothing forceful. Kids read books, giggle, sometimes fall asleep. Parents are always welcome right next to the table.

Progress re-exams: the proof, not a formality

This is the part we care about most. On a set schedule inside your plan, we re-run the same three scans from Day 1 and put the results side by side. Is the electrical pattern along the spine calming down? Is the heat pattern evening out? Is the heartbeat rhythm showing more brake and less gas? Is the CORESCORE climbing? Those answers tell us whether the plan is working, and they tell us honestly. If progress is strong, we adjust the pace. If a pattern is holding on, we see it early and adapt. You are never left wondering. You see the same numbers we see. Strong. Clear. Unshakable. If you have been wanting care that shows its work, schedule a first visit and we will walk you through it.

What happens when the plan ends

A finished care plan is a milestone, not a goodbye. Life in Sonoma County keeps coming. School stress, sports seasons, new babies, long weeks. Most of our families choose a simple monthly wellness rhythm after their plan, a tune-up schedule that supports the progress they worked for. Regular re-checks stay part of that rhythm too, because the testing never stops being the point.
